My father who is a Singaporean passed away in Hong Kong unexpectedly while on a trip in Jul 2024. You can imagine how stressed the family was as we needed to deal with the grief while handling the complicated process of either cremating my father's body in HK or repatriating his body back to Singapore.

We visited different funeral undertakers but decided to go with Sage laGreen as they have staffs who can speak good English and most importantly they made us feel like we matter and they gave us the assurance and confidence of handling this complicated situation. The other funeral undertakers were less compassionate (perhaps they see death everyday and are jaded?) and made us feel like it's just another business transaction.

As we are not residents of HK, the family was desperate to fly back home soonest with my father. To complicate matters, cremation in HK takes 1-2 weeks (unlike Singapore which you can do so the next day). With the Sage's Team help, we were able to cremate my father 4 days after identifying his body. The team was with us every step of the way and their kindness and attentiveness was what we needed at that critical moment. The expedited cremation process allows the family to return back to Singapore sooner.

The cost quoted to us was very reasonable and it includes the cremation cost, purchased of a very beautiful urn with gold carvings, buddhist prayers, prayer offerings, cost of death certificate.

Thank you for making things as seamless as possible for us and shoutout to Betsy, Label and the extended Sage Team for giving my father the best send off possible in that short amount of time. Thank you so much for the top notched service and compassion showed towards my family during this difficult time. We are eternally grateful for your help.
